OT Assistant

Under the direction and supervision of the occupational therapist, the assistant provides prescribed therapeutic services to restore and prevent disability for patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with departmental, hospital policies, and state/Federal regulatory requirements.

Candidates must possess an associate degree (Cota) from an accredited program and hold current state occupational therapy certification. A current aha bcls certificate is required upon hire, and national board for certification occupational therapy certification is preferred.
