Job Summary
Full-time nursing faculty position in the Associate Degree Nursing program. This is a 10-month in-person position.
Job Duties
Teaching responsibilities include classroom, clinical and campus laboratory instruction in the areas of nursing care throughout the lifespan. Other responsibilities include team teaching and curriculum development, department and college committee assignments, student advising and community service and professional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Nursing required with willingness to obtain Master of Science in Nursing within four years. Must hold a current unencumbered license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and have a minimum of two (2) years full time or equivalent experience as a registered nurse within immediate past five (5) years and maintain expertise in the clinical or functional area of responsibility. Must be committed to teaching excellence, able to adapt to student learning needs, and perform as a member of a team.
Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing Education or must complete within 4 years of employment
