Core responsibilities
The registered behavior technician will provide direct, one-On-One applied behavior analysis (Aba) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder, implementing individualized treatment plans focused on improving communication and adaptive skills. Responsibilities include executing skill acquisition programs, reducing challenging behaviors, accurately collecting data, and communicating progress to the supervising bcba.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an active registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification and a high school diploma or equivalent, although a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Essential requirements include strong communication skills and comfort working directly with children diagnosed with autism.
