Job description

  • The Early Childhood Education Teacher for St.
  • Louis School in Clarksville will plan, organize, and implement the instructional program in a Catholic learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their full academic potential.
  • In addition, the PreK4 Teacher is responsible for supervising children at all times and providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program for students that complies with all mandated state and Archdiocesan policies and procedures.
  • This role supports and may work with students across multiple grade levels, including Pre-K-2 through Pre-K- 4.
  • This position is for the 2026–2027 school year.
  • Essential Functions
  • Provides grade-appropriate instructional program for Early Childhood students that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
  • Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan course of study.
  • Observe and assess student progress, keep detailed records observing student behavior and progress, and share with parents.
  • Communicate in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
  • Attend all faculty meetings, professional development days, and workshops.
  • Position Qualifications
  • 4-year degree is required, but a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
  • 2 years of related experience working in an approved early childhood school.
  • Experience in a Catholic School setting is a plus.
  • Experience working with a developmentally appropriate student readiness program is desired.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills required.
