The teacher will provide grade-appropriate Math and Science instruction for 5th-grade students aligned with the Archdiocesan curriculum. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining professional communication with parents and colleagues.

Essential Functions
Provide grade-appropriate instructional programs for students that adhere to the school’s philosophy, goals, and objectives.
Develop lesson plans with clear objectives aligned with the Archdiocesan curriculum.
Observe and assess student progress; maintain detailed records of academic performance and student behavior; and share this information with parents.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date gradebook at all times.
Communicate with parents and colleagues in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
Support the mission of the school and the Catholic Church through instructional practices.
Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Math, Science, History, or a related field preferred, but not required.
Prior experience working with or teaching children preferred.
Alignment with and respect for the mission and values of Catholic education.
