The Adjunct Professor will facilitate a classroom environment providing foundational theory and hands-on experiences in Medical Assisting, teaching 3-14 contact hours based on qualifications and college needs across two Syracuse campus locations. Responsibilities include facilitating student progress toward program requirements, assisting in developing instructional plans, and modeling lifelong learning through continuous professional development.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Master’s degree in an allied health field or a related clinical field, along with current or eligibility for a nationally-recognized field certification such as CMA or RN. Successful work experience in a clinical, medical office, or laboratory setting involving clinical skills is required, and teaching experience or aptitude is preferred.
$800 - $900 per credit hour
