Unaccompanied Refugee Minor - Youth and Family Specialist

The specialist provides culturally sensitive intensive case management, outreach, and direct services to unaccompanied refugee minor program youth, coordinating with various external systems like schools and legal personnel. This role involves being the primary advocate for the child, initiating creative service approaches to help the youth achieve their potential and work towards a permanent resource and long-Term life plan.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, along with one year of experience and eligibility for lsw licensure. Essential requirements include possessing a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to utilize sound clinical judgment in decisions concerning children and families.
