Foster Care Therapeutic Support Worker

The therapeutic support worker develops and implements treatment plans to help families achieve goals and increase child safety, while also providing necessary supports during supervised visitations. This role involves assisting families in increasing parenting skills, building positive relationships with providers, and coordinating community resources to meet social, medical, and vocational needs.

A minimum of a high school diploma is required along with four years of experience working with families, though an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field with two years of experience is preferred, and candidates must be at least 22 years old. Applicants must possess the ability to work positively with children and parents facing mental health challenges or intellectual disabilities and must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
