Residential Advisor

The residential advisor provides a safe, supportive, and predictable environment by supervising job corps trainees in their daily dormitory activities, monitoring progress toward goals, and utilizing behavior management practices aligned with core values. This role involves assisting students with adjustment, ensuring adherence to schedules, facilitating life skills groups, and acting as a communication channel between management, staff, and students.

Candidates must be able to operate office equipment, relate effectively to the trainee population, inspire and motivate staff and students, and possess strong management and multitasking skills. Obtaining and maintaining cpr/First aid and aed certification is required, alongside excellent oral and written communication abilities for effective teamwork.
