Special Education Teacher-The Chimes School

Teachers will instruct and support students using instruction driven by individualized education programs (Ieps) while focusing on helping students develop functional life skills and independence. This involves utilizing positive behavior strategies and collaborating closely with assistants, clinicians, therapists, and families.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's or master's degree in special education or a closely related field, along with a maryland special education license. A collaborative, student-Centered approach and a passion for working with students with disabilities are essential qualifications.
