Child Care Lead Teacher - Young Explorers

The lead teacher will ensure the safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years in an assigned classroom while creating developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities based on children's interests. Responsibilities also include maintaining a warm, safe, and clean environment and partnering with families to provide the best care and education.

Candidates must possess an associate degree or a child development associate (Cda) credential, and ideally have over 2 years of experience in a licensed child care facility. Strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask and stay organized, and meeting state employment criteria are also necessary.
