Middle School Math Certified Teacher (Sanford, FL)

• For over 15 years, Study Smart Tutors have provided tutoring, college preparation, and enrichment programming for thousands of students and families. We are currently looking for a Middle School Math (Certified Teacher) Tutor to join our group at our Sanford, Fl location. Candidates must hold a 4-year degree and be a certified teacher to be considered. It offers an excellent pay rate of $40 per hour, including the Benefits mentioned below. MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TUTOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES: (Included, but not limited to)
• Subjects to be taught: Math & ELA
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

Qualifications

• For the middle school math tutor:
• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Must be a certified teacher
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
• In-person availability is required
• Scheduled hours: Wednesday and Thursday 9 AM to 4 PM EST
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
