Standardized Patient (Multiple Positions)

A standardized patient participates in teaching and assessment at the desales university healthcare simulation center by consistently portraying a specific case for learners to interview or examine. The role may also involve providing constructive feedback to learners based on their performance.

Candidates must be able to accurately and convincingly maintain a specified character, work flexible on-Call hours, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Essential requirements include maintaining confidentiality, following directions, accurately scoring student behaviors, and being willing to undergo repeated physical examinations.
