Core responsibilities
The specialist will provide training to the marshallese community on mental health topics, develop and implement staff and community trainings, and share ideas to improve care access and expand outreach activities. Responsibilities also include delivering authorized behavioral health intervention services, such as psycho-Educational skills training, and facilitating presentations on mental illness and coping strategies.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or higher and be fluent in both marshallese and english, with previous experience in case management, crisis management, and skills building preferred. Experience working with children and families in educational settings is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
