Job description

Through services delivered across the life course, RC supports individuals to develop skills, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday life—from out-of-school-hours care and education to adult empowerment, therapy, social care, and community integration.

We are seeking Care Facilitators to join our new Day Activity Centre for adults with disabilities. The Care Facilitator is a key support role that assists in the delivery of daily activities and routines for persons with disabilities. Working as part of a team, the Care Facilitator provides hands-on support during activities, transitions, and personal care where required, helping to ensure that activities are safe, engaging, and well-organised.

Critical Work Functions

Support Daily Activities & Routines Provide hands-on support during daily activities, routines, transitions, meals, and personal care to enable safe and meaningful participation for clients.

Care, Wellbeing & Safety Support clients’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing by ensuring safety, dignity, and adherence to care and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Activity & Environment Support Prepare and maintain activity materials, equipment, and environments to ensure they are safe, orderly, and conducive to engagement and learning.

Observation, Documentation & Reporting Observe client participation and progress, complete required documentation accurately using digital systems, and promptly report concerns or incidents to supervisors.

  • Minimum “N” Level / 3 “O” Level passes / partial ”A” Level / fresh NITEC with pass in English
  • Experience working with clients with disabilities is preferred but not essential.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.
