The primary responsibility involves providing play-based education and developmental enrichment to infants aged newborn to 3 years and their families through consistent home visits. This includes family education, curriculum planning, scheduling, assessment, and hands-on interaction to encourage engagement and natural play.
A Bachelor's degree is required in fields such as Child Development, Psychology, or Education, and experience working with infants (newborn to 3 years old) is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel within a 30-mile radius for home visits.
A Developmental Specialist’s primary responsibility is to provide play-based education and developmental enrichment to infants, ages newborn- 3 years, and their families within a home-based program. Activities include but are not limited to consistent home visits, family education and support, curriculum planning, scheduling, assessment, and play.
Bachelor's degree required: Field of study can be Child Development, Psychology, Sociology, Humanities, Behavioral Science, Education, or other related fields.
Experience: Experience working with infants (newborn to 3 years old) is preferred
Extensive training will be provided.
A valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation and a willingness to travel within a 30-mile radius to conduct in-home visits. Drive time and mileage will be reimbursed.
Strong organizational skills and a desire to work with people of different socioeconomic backgrounds.
Bilingual preferred
We offer a highly competitive hourly rate ranging from $23.00-$28.00 per hour based on degree and experience.
Full Time: Monday-Saturday between 30-40 hours per week
Part Time: Monday-Saturday between 15-25 hours per week
