Trauma Informed Youth Therapist

The therapist will provide individual and group counseling to youth exposed to violence or abuse, and teach a trauma education/Violence prevention curriculum on the school campus. Responsibilities also include developing and facilitating a peer leadership program, conducting outreach, and providing workshops for parents and staff.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in a relevant field and hold an active, unrestricted california license in a behavioral health discipline. Required experience includes working with children/Adolescents, a solid understanding of interpersonal violence and trauma-Informed principles, and strong counseling/Crisis intervention skills.
