Trauma Informed Youth Counselor

The counselor will provide individual and group counseling to youth exposed to violence or abuse, and teach trauma education and violence prevention curriculum on the school campus. Responsibilities also include developing and facilitating a peer leadership program and conducting outreach/Workshops for parents and staff.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in a relevant field like social work or therapy, and ideally have at least one year of experience working with children and adolescents. A strong understanding of interpersonal violence, trauma-Informed principles, and strong counseling/Crisis intervention skills are essential.
