Safety officers will patrol various locations across the savannah and atlanta campuses, performing duties such as deterring undesirable behaviors, conducting facility inspections, responding to radio calls, and inputting reports. Key duties also involve maintaining physical fitness to handle standing, walking, climbing stairs, and responding quickly to service calls.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess the ability to conduct security patrols without direct supervision, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and safely operate a motor vehicle. Essential requirements include knowledge of public security codes, the clery act, and the physical capability to stand/Walk for long shifts, run, climb stairs, perform cpr, and lift up to 50 lbs.
