Job description

As the university safety operations center specialist, you will direct and dispatch university safety patrol officers to areas of concerns and calls for service. You will monitor extensive CCTV system’s focusing on buildings and grounds as well as intrusion alarms. Among other duties, you will retrieve camera footage for use in court testimony and testify in criminal proceedings when necessary. You will also utilize basic crime analysis software to assist in the deployment of field personnel and manage campus transportation requests.

This position is identified as essential personnel in the university's emergency and disaster response plans. In the event of a university closure or evacuation, all essential personnel shall report.

Please Note, this position is a full-time role with 12 hour shifts. Day Shift is 6am-6pm, Night Shift is 6pm-6am

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• 10–20%

Work hours

  • The university work week is Sunday through Saturday.
  • Most offices are open
  • Monday through
