The Special Education Paraprofessional will work closely with teachers to provide direct support to students aged 5–21 with autism and various challenges, focusing on their academic, behavioral, and self-care objectives. Key duties include implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans, assisting with transitions and personal care, and accurately collecting behavioral and progress data.

As a Special Education Paraprofessional at New Story Schools, you will work alongside teachers to support students’ academic, behavioral, and daily living goals.
You’ll play a vital role in helping each student succeed through direct support, patience, and encouragement.
