The teacher will instruct students in writing, acting as a representative of the catholic church by adhering to its doctrines and serving as a role model for religious formation. General duties include collaborating with staff, communicating with parents, maintaining records, and participating in required professional development and religious activities.

Candidates must be qualified professional educators who agree to abide by the policies of the archdiocese of chicago and the local school, including completing catholic identity formation training. A bachelor's degree is required, and while state licensure is preferred, it is not mandatory.
