The instructor will assist lead instructors in teaching basic baseball and softball fundamentals across all academy programs, including camps and clinics. Responsibilities also involve coaching teams as needed and assisting at various events held at Minute Maid Park.

Assist in instruction while learning the coaching styles, techniques and coordination of MLB style of baseball/softball instruction.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate, however, during events, the noise level may be loud. The employee will be expected to work both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather patterns (extreme heat or cold, rain, etc.).

The Position requires ability to walk long distances and stand up 4 to 5 hours without a break.
The ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including; extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
No travel is expected for this position.
