The Lead Instructor is responsible for teaching baseball and softball offensive and defensive skills, ensuring fundamentals align with MLB standards across all Academy levels. This role also involves coaching teams, leading instruction at various events, and supporting marketing and outreach efforts.

Classification: Part-time/Non-exempt/Seasonal
Responsible for teaching the Academy’s baseball/softball offensive and defensive skill development. Training in the areas of hitting, pitching, fielding, base running and game knowledge.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate, however, during events, the noise level may be loud. The employee will be expected to work both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather patterns (extreme heat or cold, rain, etc.).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Ability to regularly work on your feet for long hours.
The Position requires ability to walk long distances and stand up 4 to 5 hours without a break.
The ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including; extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
No travel is expected for this position.
