Core responsibilities
This role involves serving as the first point of contact for the director’s office, providing high-Level administrative support, managing front-Office operations, and supporting key functions like event coordination (Commencement, convocation) and staff/Faculty recruitment. The assistant will also serve as secretary for the college council, oversee purchasing and scheduling, and maintain confidential records.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and three years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination, along with an unrestricted driver's license meeting uaa requirements. The role requires proficiency in ms office/Google workspace, strong communication skills, the ability to obtain an alaska notary within six months, and comfort working in a fast-Paced, confidential environment.
