Sports Physical Therapy Resident

The resident will provide evidence-Based outpatient care to athletes across various settings including clinics, schools, and sports venues. They will also participate in a structured 1800-Hour residency program involving clinical practice and didactic education to prepare for the sports physical therapy clinical specialist exam.

Candidates must hold a doctor of physical therapy (Dpt) degree and possess a valid virginia physical therapy license or compact privilege. Additional requirements include cpr/Bls certification and eligibility for or possession of an athletic trainer (Atc) certification.
