Core responsibilities
The faculty member will teach three to four courses per semester, including introductory and upper-Division major courses, while also recruiting, advising, mentoring, and supporting a diverse student population across multiple modalities. Responsibilities also include curriculum development for distance delivery and a service component involving committee participation, community service, and accreditation support.
Requirements summary
A master’s degree in social work from a cswe-Accredited program and a minimum of two years of post-Msw professional practice in human services or related community-Based settings are required. Preferred qualifications include prior university-Level teaching experience and specific experience working with alaska native, indigenous, or rural populations.
