Core responsibilities
The faculty member will provide advising to prospective and current dental hygiene students while delivering didactic, laboratory, and clinical education within the program. This role also involves contributing to the structure, daily operation, curriculum development, and general effectiveness of the program and clinic.
Requirements summary
A master's degree or higher in dental hygiene or a related field, along with current alaska dental hygiene or dental license and local anesthesia certification (Or obtained by hire), are minimum requirements. Essential qualifications include didactic/Experiential teaching experience, commitment to student success, and strong communication skills.
