Advising Coordinator (TUC - TRIO)

The advising coordinator will provide academic, career, and personal advisement to trio educational talent search participants to prepare them for postsecondary enrollment, while also assisting with identification, recruitment, and monitoring of participant progress. Duties include coordinating educational and cultural enrichment activities, developing instructional curriculum, and teaching workshops on topics like financial literacy and college admission.

Candidates must have education equivalent to a four-Year college or university graduation, with a preference for a master's degree and a background in social sciences or education. A minimum of two years working with middle school, secondary, or postsecondary students is required, along with demonstrated sensitivity to low-Income and first-Generation students.
