  • Range: $43,000.00 - $48,000.00 Salary/yearThe Adult ESL Instructor is responsible for delivering group and individualized English as a Second Language instruction to adult learners, focusing on language proficiency, civics, and workplace readiness. The instructor will monitor learner progress, adapt instruction to diverse needs, and integrate digital literacy using a variety of instructional technologies in their lessons, as well as support CASAS pre- and post-testing. Classes are held in-person and online; must be available to work onsite and evenings from 12pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday.

Burlington English or EnGen (Language Upskilling Platform) program preferred Endorsement in ESL or TESOL Experience in teaching adult education preferred Valid elementary or secondary Michigan Teaching Certificate or related instructional certificate program preferred Possession of a valid driver’s license and have access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance
