Core responsibilities
The lower school counselor will provide guidance and counseling services to primary grades (Le-1 through fifth grade) focusing on student social and emotional health. Requirements summary
Candidates must possess knowledge in all levels of lower school counseling, including child and adolescent psychology, and maintain high levels of confidentiality. A bachelor's degree is required, though a master's is preferred, along with three or more years of school counseling experience, preferably at the lower school level in an independent school.
