Summer Day Camp Inclusion Aide

The inclusion aide will support and assist individuals with disabilities enrolled in y programs to promote maximum participation and independence in camp activities. This involves serving as a professional role model, ensuring individualized needs are met, and guiding participants through activities that foster life skills and healthy behaviors.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old, with prior experience working with children, preferably those with disabilities or in a similar program setting. Essential requirements include a commitment to the ymca mission, basic knowledge of child development, and the ability to implement inclusion plans and apply behavior management techniques.
