Early Head Start Teacher, Winslow

This position is responsible for instructing preschool-Aged children through facilitating developmentally appropriate activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Essential duties include developing lesson plans, maintaining family relationships, assigning duties to staff, and conducting health screenings for children.

Educational requirements vary significantly, ranging from a childhood development associate credential (Cda) or equivalent for level i, up to a master's degree in early childhood education or child development for level iv. All candidates must pass a criminal background check, obtain a fingerprint clearance card, and complete a tb skin test as conditions of employment.
