Northpark Youth Sports & Rec Staff

The youth sports official is responsible for officiating youth sports games, ensuring they are conducted safely, fairly, and fun by enforcing rules and maintaining order. Key duties include monitoring safety, promoting good sportsmanship, communicating with stakeholders, and assisting with game preparation and record keeping.

Prior experience as a sports official or referee is preferred, and essential knowledge of the specific sport being officiated is required. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, the ability to make quick and fair decisions, and be willing to obtain cpr and first aid certification.
