Seasonal Summer Camp Lifeguard (Summer 2026)

The lifeguard is responsible for organizing and monitoring all waterfront activities, which include a lake for swimming and boating, ensuring strict adherence to red cross and state of alaska requirements. This involves constant supervision of campers and staff, testing swimming abilities, maintaining equipment, and enforcing waterfront rules and discipline.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, pass all required background checks by the salvation army, and possess current lifeguard training certification including first aid, cpr, aed, and waterfront skills certification. Prior lifeguard experience and demonstrated ability to work effectively with young people aged 7 and older are preferred.
