About the role

Student Leaders will supervise children ranging from 2-year-olds up to Fifth graders in an after-care program, which includes reading books, creating and playing games, and monitoring indoor and outdoor activities. Responsibilities also involve changing diapers for younger children and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment while encouraging and motivating the children.

The Elementary School is seeking talented, outgoing, and fun Student Leaders to

  • Supervise children in after care program from ages 2 year olds-Fifth graders.
  • Read books
  • Create and Play games
  • Monitor and play indoor /outdoor activities
  • Change diapers (if working with younger group)
  • Provide a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Encourage and Motivate Young Children Have Fun!

Education: Lipscomb Academy High School or Lipscomb University Student

Experience: Any experience supervising children (but not a requirement for the position)

Availability

Hours are 2:45/3:00 – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday preferred. Flexible days available if needed. Please be sure to include 3 References in the

Requirements

Applicants must be a Lipscomb Academy High School or Lipscomb University Student, and while any experience supervising children is helpful, it is not a requirement. Availability is preferred Monday through Friday from 2:45/3:00 PM to 5:30 PM, with flexible days available if necessary.
