Core responsibilities
Interns will support supervising social workers by meeting the material and emotional needs of clients, which includes conducting social needs assessments and assisting in developing service plans. Students will also support clients in finding necessary community resources and acquire skills in individual and group counseling.
Requirements summary
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an approved bachelor of social work (Bsw) program, though consideration may be given to other bachelor-Level human services programs that mandate a clinical internship. Interns are expected to work 15-20 hours per week and be prepared to manage various client needs using best practices.
