Youth Development Professional (YDP)

The youth development professional (Ydp) is responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in care, facilitating their development through teaching and support. They interact with residents according to their treatment plans and maintain supervision to ensure safety.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged, with college experience preferred. Essential qualifications include the ability to lift 50 pounds, provide crisis intervention, and maintain a safe environment for residents.
