This position is responsible for delivering services and instructional activities to students, collaborating with the instructional team on behavioral and academic interventions. Key duties include managing classroom behavior using PBIS and assisting teachers with instruction, observation, and documentation.
Candidates must possess either an Associate degree or 60 post-secondary credits, or a high school diploma/equivalent, along with a Credential of Competency for Special Education Paraeducators in Pennsylvania. A minimum of one year of experience working with a special needs population in a school setting and a valid driver's license are also required.
PHMC serves as both a direct service provider to individuals, families, and communities across the region and as an intermediary agent — managing large-scale contracts, government and philanthropic partnerships, and multidisciplinary initiatives that require operational sophistication, strategic leadership, and deep mission alignment.

This position is responsible for the delivery of services and instructional activities for students in the program. The IBA collaborates with members of the instructional team in the planning and implementation of behavioral and academic interventions and supports to ensure students receive a quality educational program. The IBA also may support small groups or individual students as assigned by the Principal. The IBA functions under the direct supervision of the Special Education Teacher and reports to the Principal.
