Market context

Massachusetts nursing faculty roles stay selective

Assistant Professor roles in pre-licensure nursing programs in Massachusetts are typically driven by ongoing faculty needs tied to student enrollment, clinical instruction, and accreditation standards. These positions are competitive because schools often look for a Massachusetts RN license, a master’s in nursing, and teaching or clinical experience, with doctoral preparation often preferred. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to quickly compare fit against the original posting, then confirm your medical-surgical teaching background and current licensure before applying.
