Parent Lactation Educator

The parent and lactation educator is responsible for applying theories and concepts related to childbirth, postpartum care, and human lactation counseling and education. This role ensures patient-Oriented healthcare promotion and acts as a patient advocate while facilitating nursing philosophy in the maternal child health module.

Candidates must possess the education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications, including being a registered nurse and holding relevant lactation or childbirth educator certifications. Preferred experience includes at least two years of clinical experience providing lactation support.
