The YMCA of Northwest Florida is seeking YSports coaches for our Afterschool Sports program at schools throughout Escambia County.

This is a part-time, 20-25 hr/week position.

Hours on-site are 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

A level 2 background and drug screen are required, as well as a willingness to obtain a CPR/1st Aid certification and any additional training. (provided and paid for by the YMCA).

Experience working with elementary school-age children, knowledge of the basic rules of basketball, flag football, volleyball, soccer, kickball, and previous coaching experience are a plus.

English and Spanish-speaking individuals needed.

Requirements

Candidates must pass a level 2 background check and drug screen, and be willing to obtain CPR/1st Aid certification. Previous experience working with children and knowledge of various sports rules are considered a plus.
