Part time Special Education Teacher (SETSS)

The special education teacher will deliver high-Quality, individualized, and small-Group instruction to students with disabilities according to their iesp mandates, while also developing engaging lesson plans to meet unique student needs. Responsibilities include maintaining intervention schedules, submitting quarterly progress reports, documenting service delivery, and collaborating with families and school staff to foster student progress.

Candidates must possess a valid nys students with disabilities certification (B-2, 1-6, 7-12, or all grades) or nys literacy specialist certification, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Applicants must not have been employed by nyc doe in the past 12 months and should have experience teaching mathematics and ela, along with dependable transportation and nyc doe fingerprinting clearance.
