Part time Special Education Teacher (SETSS)

The special education teacher will deliver high-Quality, individualized, and small-Group instruction to students with disabilities according to their individualized education service programs (Iesp) mandates. Responsibilities also include developing progress reports, maintaining family communication, documenting service delivery, and collaborating with school staff to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Candidates must possess a valid nys students with disabilities certification (B-2, 1-6, 7-12, or all grades) or a nys literacy specialist certification, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Applicants must not have been employed by the nyc doe in the last 12 months and require dependable transportation and nyc doe fingerprinting clearance.
