Job description
NFI Massachusetts, Inc., a non-profit human service agency, is currently seeking a Life Skills Coach for its Lofts program in Haverhill, MA.

The Lofts is a 5-bedroom community living program for young adults between the ages of 18-22, in Haverhill MA. The Life Skills Coach works collaboratively with young adults to help strengthen their skills, competencies, resources and supports as they transition towards independent living.
Pay
- $22/hour |
- Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Sunday 9am-8pm Monday 12pm-10pm Tuesday 12pm-10pm Wednesday 11am-8pm
Job Responsibilities
- Supports and coaches young adults in developing independent living skills to successfully transition to independent community living, including employment readiness, continuing education, financial literacy, and household management.
- Assist in making referrals to community providers, as needed.
- Participate in daily program structure and operations.
- Provides counseling to clients as indicated by treatment plan and circumstance.
- Acts in accordance with the Agency’s policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a residential care setting preferred. Lived Experience a PLUS
- High energy level and demonstrated ability to function in a team atmosphere.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, conflict resolution and team building skills.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English.
