Therapeutic School Classroom Paraprofessional

Classroom paraprofessionals support students with developmental disabilities and severe behavior problems by promoting independence in communication, self-Help, social skills, and functional living skills within a structured environment. Responsibilities include implementing and documenting training programs, assisting with behavior management, and ensuring student safety during daily activities and off-Campus events.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid kansas driver's license preferred for driving students. Candidates must successfully complete all required orientation and training, maintain annual nci certification, and maintain cpr certification.
