Job Summary
- Job Summary Reports to the Lead Technologist, assigned technologist and/or Radiology Supervisor to receive assignments or directives.
- Receives additional work orders from Radiologists, Physicians, and department management.
- Under the guidance of a Radiographer, Assess the patient’s condition.
- Identifies patient.
- Under the guidance of a Radiographer, Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (Part 2) Assists physicians with procedures.
- Under the guidance of a Radiographer, Assists in maintaining patient and room workflow.
- Participates in quality management activities Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Education Student must be in the third or summer semester of American Medical Association accredited training program.
- Licensure/ Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
- Compensation $22/hr Flat Rate
