Job Description: And position requirements

Penn State Shenango, located in Sharon, PA, is seeking part-time lecturers to teach courses supporting the Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) program. Instruction is needed at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels. Courses are available for both the Fall and Spring semesters; the Fall 2026 semester begins on August 24, 2026. Availability to teach in-person is strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of an earned master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies or closely related field.
  • A successful record of previous college teaching is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with learning technology is strongly preferred.
