Early Head Start Teacher

The teacher is responsible for ensuring compliance with all early head start program regulations while creating a safe, healthy, and engaging educational environment for enrolled infants, toddlers, and their families. This role involves building a loving, caring environment where all participants learn from one another, requiring demonstrated sensitivity to cultural differences and community needs.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; a cda credential in infant/Toddler is preferred, but candidates without it will be trained and must obtain it within one year at the employer's cost. Candidates must also pass drug/Alcohol testing, criminal history checks, and maintain reliable transportation and a satisfactory driving record.
