Lifeguard

The lifeguard will supervise and ensure the safety of all children during scheduled swim sessions and aquatic fitness activities, while also enforcing water safety rules and responding effectively to emergencies. Duties include delivering basic water safety instruction, supporting children of varying swim abilities, and maintaining the cleanliness of the aquatic area.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, with a child development associate (Cda) preferred, and hold a current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization. Applicants are also required to have cpr and first aid certification or be willing to obtain them, along with meeting all department of human services (Dhs) clearance requirements.
